Love BMX racing? The Leighton Vans team do and when the opportunity came to sponsor a Holeshot, they grabbed it with both hands. The first riders in six Challenge age groups to cross the white stripe in turn 1 won a £50 voucher to spend at Sorted Racegear.
The Leighton Vans Holeshot took place at round 8 of the 2017 HSBC UK British Cycling BMX Natinoal Series at Platt Fields Park in Manchester. The National Series tours the UK between March and August with 12 rounds in total. Each event sees between 800 and 1000 BMX riders battle it out for Series points to become a National Champion in their age group for the year. Age categories range from the 6 and Unders to Veterans. The Leighton Vans Love Not Money BMX race team were out in force and in great form. For many, Manchester BMX Club is their home. Olivia Blevins had a great weekend making the finals in the British Cycling Female 17+ Challenge Class
Team Rider Charley Yates presented the winner of the 17+ Female class, Bethany Campbell with her award.
